Rachel is an American Sign Language Teacher and a NIC National Certified Interpreter located in the Kansas City metro area who is passionate about Deaf people and equipping others to be able to converse and minister in and to the Deaf community.
She has worked as an interpreter in the Deaf community for over 6 years in a variety of settings including education, video relay service, theatre, freelance, medical, post secondary, ministry conferences, and sporting events in Washington D.C., Texas, Tennessee, Kansas, and Missouri. Rachel also taught an ASL I course for Midwestern State University's Continuing Education Department in 2006 and has had the opportunity to work with a Deaf-Blind consumer.
